Number of doses and timing of administrations

Both the maternal RSVPreF vaccine and the monoclonal antibodies require one dose. 
The maternal vaccine is recommended for the 3rd trimester of pregnancy.
Nirsevimab is available in 2 weight-band dosages: 50mg for infants <5 kgs and 100mg for infants ≥ 5 kgs. It is recommended to be given to infants at birth or soon after. For countries choosing to take a seasonal approach with catch-up, older infants up to 12 months of age can be given a dose of nirsevimab just prior to or during the RSV season. 
Clersovimab has one single dosage 105mg and is recommended to be given to infants at birth or before start of the RSV season.Go to footnote 1  Go to footnote 2
