Globally, the estimated cost per person vaccinated ranges between countries. In 2018, the reported cost of delivering a maternal vaccine ranged from $0.55 to $0.64 for LICs, $1.25 to $6.55 for MICs, and $5.76 to $39.87 in HICs. The UNICEF price estimate for delivering birth dose vaccines (BCG and the HepB vaccines) is $2.34, and this gives an estimate of delivery costs for nirsevimab as a birth dose. In addition to these costs, the direct cost of the vaccines and mAb per dose will need to be included (currently unknown for LMICs).
