Overview

In September 2022, SAGE endorsed an off-label single-dose schedule for HPV vaccination, concluding that a single dose provides solid protection against HPV infections comparable to the traditional two-dose regimen. Following this recommendation, countries have implemented and are considering changes in schedule that can contribute to the simplification of the vaccine delivery and significant budgetary savings.
