Acceptability of the vaccine and of vaccination against the disease
Based on 86 studies worldwide, parents generally supported HPV vaccinations for their children, with HPV vaccine acceptance rates varying from 12% to 98%. Geographical variations were seen in pooled acceptance rates, highest in Africa (79.6%; 95% CI: 73.5–85.2%) and lowest in North America (56.7%; 95% CI: 49.3–64.0%).
