What are the objectives of this recommendation?

With the imminent perspective of the marketing of vaccines against SARS-CoV-2, these interim recommendations propose a frame of reference that will allow the public authorities to define the methods of implementing the vaccination campaign and their operational variations.

  • Encourage the support of the public and all stakeholders
    • Build and maintain confidence in future vaccines
    • Respect a principle of transparency to promote trust
    • Involve users in determining the vaccination strategy

    • Do not introduce mandatory vaccination 
  • The organization plan should be pragmatic and flexible
    • Simplify access to vaccination as much as possible
    • Take into account the multiple constraints in the choice of vaccination modalities

    • Increase the possibilities of access to vaccination by diversifying the profile of vaccinators
