NACI Updated recommendations for the use of varicella and MMR vaccines in HIV-infected individuals

This NACI statement updates the recommendations previously published in the Canadian Immunization Guide (CIG) 2006 for the use of varicella vaccine in individuals infected with the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). The new varicella vaccine recommendations are now consistent with the recommendations for MMR use in HIV-infected persons, which remain unchanged.
