Abstract
The Public Health Agency has investigated whether vaccination against chickenpox should be offered as part of the national vaccination program for children. The Agency has concluded that the vaccination meets the requirements of the Communicable Diseases Act for inclusion in a national vaccination program.
This health economic report presents a cost effectiveness analysis of introducing chickenpox vaccination for children in Sweden from a societal and healthcare perspective. It also includes analyzes of costs and cost-savings at national and regional levels.
