At the 25-26 March 2012 meeting, the NCIP (National Committee on Immunization Practices) and government of Nepal discussed and made recommendations on the following topics: 1. Burden of disease for rotavirus 2. Burden of disease for pneumococcal disease 3. Considerations for rotavirus and pneumococcal vaccine introduction 4. Update on 2011 typhoid vaccine demonstration project 5. Report of typhoid sentinel surveillance outside Kathmandu Valley 6. Proposal for cholera demonstration project
