CAVEI recommendations to prioritize vaccination against SARS-COV-2 in health personnel during the campaign initiation phase and in the context of vaccine limited supply

In the context of a future vaccination campaign for SARS-CoV-2, all health personnel, from the public and private sectors, as a priority group to receive the vaccine COVID-19 once our country has the first doses, as indicated in the document “Provisional recommendation of CAVEI for the initial prioritization of groups to be vaccinated against SARSCoV-2 in the context of limited supply of vaccines ”issued on December 2, 2020

When referring to health personnel, we must consider a broad group of workers who perform a series of tasks dedicated to patient care, either directly or indirectly, including clinical care work and administrative activities in health care facilities, closed, open and urgent care health.

These recommendations help prioritize health personnel based on risk of exposure to SARS-COV-2.
