The Task Force for Global Health, based in Atlanta, USA, has been supporting NITAG strengthening since 2017 – working with partners such as US-CDC, WHO, and the Global NITAG Network to:
- Provide training to new NITAGs,
- Develop tools to support the development of evidence-based recommendations for vaccine-preventable diseases,
- Provide training and technical support to NITAGs to develop recommendations for seasonal influenza vaccination.
The Task Force for Global Health continues to offer support to NITAGs by providing several types of support, including:
- Toolkits for facilitated training and self-learning in the Evidence to Recommendations process.
- facilitated training and continued technical support to develop vaccine recommendations for influenza and other diseases.
