Abstract
This qualitative study explores the needs of immunization decision-makers to address expertise and resource barriers that limit the use of modelling in decision-making. Based on in-depth interviews with stakeholders—including NITAG members—across all WHO regions and income settings, the study examines: (i) how modelling is understood and used; (ii) key challenges in its application; and (iii) priority areas for guidance. The findings directly informed the development of WHO Guidance for using modelling for immunization decision-making.
