Dr Wan Abdul Hannan Wan Ibadullah is a Public Health Physician and Senior Principal Assistant Director at the Vaccine-Preventable Diseases Sector, Disease Control Division, Ministry of Health Malaysia. He is the National Focal Person and Lead Secretariat for the Malaysia National Immunization Technical Advisory Group (NITAG), and currently leads Malaysia’s Polio Eradication Programme.
Dr Wan has extensive experience in vaccine policy, procurement, and programme coordination, including leading the national pneumococcal conjugate vaccine programme.
He holds Masters of Public Health(MPH) and Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) from the National University of Malaysia, with further vaccinology training from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and the Advanced Course of Vaccinology (ADVAC) in France.
