Hushendree Naicker has a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy and a master’s degree in business administration, with over 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. She is seconded to the National Department of Health in South Africa as a Senior Pharmaceutical Policy Specialist supporting the Expanded Programme on Immunisation (EPI) and the National Advisory Group on Immunisation (NAGI). She is however employed by Jhpiego, ‘a global nonprofit organization focused on improving healthcare for women and families, particularly through innovative solutions in maternal, newborn, and reproductive health. She has also worked as a consultant for UNICEF, DG Murray Trust and Right to Care, with a focus on research and development of strategic solutions to support the achievement of the goals IA2030. Africa Rotary have invested in Hushendree’s development in peace building and mediation, empowering her with the skills to navigate the culturally sensitive landscape of low- and middle-income countries.
