Vaccination strategy against COVID19 in Spain

The Vaccination Strategy against COVID-19 in Spain, as mentioned both in the original technical document as in the successive updates, it has been modified as that vaccines were being authorized and received in our country and in line with the progress of the knowledge and changes in the context of the pandemic.

Update 9 incorporated the agreements reached in the Public Health Commission since the Note to the Update 8 (July 1, 2021), which included dosing recommendations additional doses and booster doses in some especially vulnerable population groups. In this Modified Update 9, the recommendations to administer a booster dose are added to the people who received a dose of Janssen vaccine and in cases where the booster dose is administered with Spikevax, a dose of 0.25 ml (half the usual dose used in primary vaccination).
