Recommendation on expanding HPV vaccination to boys

After a careful evidence-based process, the Haute Aautorité de la Ssanté (HAS) and the NITAG is in favor of expanding the vaccination against papillomaviruses in boys in the French vaccination calendar and recommends:
1. The expansion of HPV vaccination with GARDASIL 9® (9HPV) for all boys aged 11 to 14 years old according to a 2-dose schedule (M0, M6).
2. A possible catch-up for all adolescents and young adults aged 15 to 19 over according to a 3-dose scheme (M0, M2, M6).
3. Maintaining a specific vaccine recommendation with GARDASIL 9® (9HPV) for men who have sex with men up to the age of 26 according to a 3-dose schedule (M0, M2, M6).
