CAVEI Recommendation on interchangeability of hexavalent vaccines

CAVEI recommends

1. To complete primary and booster series with hexavalent vaccine from the same manufacturer;
2. In lack of stock of a particular manufacturer's hexavalent vaccine or before budget decisions suggesting a change to another manufacturer's hexavalent vaccine, complete original dose schedule with the new vaccine according to indications in the product's license of use, health authorities recommendations for age, and child's immunization history;
3. Maintain high vaccination coverage and avoid delays in compliance with the vaccination scheme.
