Workshop on developing Evidence-based recommendation

Burkina Faso
11 February 2016

The NITAG of Burkina Faso (GTCV Burkina) was created by ministerial decree on July 3rd, 2014. Members of the NITAG had an orientation workshop in April 2015 and developed a work plan for 2015 - 2016, which includes 5 objectives with 25 activities to reach the two national priorities:

  • To develop recommendation notes for the introduction of MenAfriVac in routime immunization
  • To develop recommendation notes to agree on vaccination outside EPI schedule

One of the objectives include reinforcing NITAG's capacities. This will be achieved through the training of the members on developing evidence-based recommendation notes. The workshop is currently being held from 10 to 12 February in Koudogou, Burkina and facilitated by the SIVAC.
