Rotavirus Vaccine to be Administered to All Babies

On friday 4th 2015, the Ministry of Health will introduce the rotavirus vaccine at national level. Children will be given two doses of the oral vaccine. The first dose will be administered before the child is 4 months old and the second between the fourth and seventh month.

The NITAG of Mozambique (COPI) has also recently recommended the introduction of measles and rubella vaccine for children aged between 9 months to 14 years old. The recommendation can be consulted here.
