Director-General Dr Margaret Chan gave a speech on the Ebola Situation to the UN Security Council

On August 13, Dr Margaret Chan, WHO Director General, gave a speech on the ebola situation during  the 7502nd meeting of the Security Council on Peace and Security in Africa. The order of the meeting was "The global response to the 2013 Ebola virus disease outbreak".
